Starting small in the retail/manufacturer sector, we worked hard to build a name for ourselves by delivering high-quality products, and over the years, our dedication to craftsmanship has led us to incredible growth.

Today, we proudly operate 50+ Jacquard machines, all sourced from Europe, renowned for their precision and reliability. Creating Perfection: The Dorai Sarees Process

Step 1: Designing the Saree – A Fusion of Creativity and Tradition

Each saree begins with the spark of creativity. Our sketchers bring fresh, unique ideas to life, drawing inspiration from traditional motifs and modern trends. These hand-drawn sketches are then evaluated to select the most appealing and fashionable designs. Once the final design is chosen, it is handed over to our digital designers, who transform these sketches into detailed digital patterns, ready to be woven into fabric.

Step 2: The Jacquard Machine – Where Technology Meets Tradition

After the design is finalized, the next step is the Jacquard machine. Powered by European technology, these machines allow us to create intricate, high-quality designs that are woven directly into the fabric. The beam (which holds the thread) is prepared with the right colors and threads, and the weaving begins. The precision of our European Jacquard machines ensures that every pattern is woven flawlessly, creating sarees that stand out for their detail and elegance.

Step 3: Extra Thread Cutting – The Final Touch of Perfection

After the saree is woven, it moves to the boota process, where any extra threads are carefully cut. This is an important step to ensure that the saree has a clean, polished finish, free from any loose ends. The attention to detail in this process ensures that each saree looks refined and ready to wear.

Step 4: Border Cutting – Crafting the Perfect Edges

Once the weaving and thread cutting are complete, the saree enters the border cutting stage. Here, the edges are carefully trimmed and finished, giving the saree its perfect, elegant borders. This step is crucial in ensuring that the saree is not only beautiful but also structurally sound.

Step 5: Finishing – Ensuring Quality at Every Step

In the final stage of the process, the saree undergoes a finishing phase. Our quality control team inspects each piece to ensure that there are no defects or damages. Once approved, the saree is carefully pressed, folded, and prepared for shipment or retail, ready to reach our customers.
